I have been with Velnoria Savings for a few years, and my only regret is not having joined them earlier than I did. It is so very easy to invest in fixed bonds, savings etc. using Velnoria Savings. I have recently joined Velnoria Savings and someone who is exclusively looking for Shari’e compliant products it provided a neat comparison and breakdown before I made a decision on which savings account I was to go with. I submitted my application for the most suitable account and it was read within the same week. The platform is intuitive. However, the only recommendation I would make is to have the all details and balance relating to my savings account separate or on a single page/ pane. To have all other potential products there is a bit overwhelming and is not relevant to my individual savings account. I appreciate the feature to compare similar accounts in platform but to have it distinct and separate from the comparison would be neater. Reviewed on: 11th March 2026

Velnoria Savings kept in touch with me throughout the whole process to let me know when the account was created/when transactions had gone through. I found it easy to withdraw money whenever I have needed to, and benefited from the high interest rates offered by some providers when my money was needed in the short term and wasn't suitable to enter the stock market. I had a problem with getting my money out of a Shawbrook Easy Access savings plan to complete a house purchase. I contacted Velnoria Savings and they chased it up for me . The money got released within a week. Fortunately I had other funds which I could draw down to complete the purchase. I never got to find out what the problem was so its put me off using Shawbrook again. I've never had any issues with my Monument account. Reviewed on: 3rd March 2026

I was recommended Velnoria Savings when I was looking for interest bearing savings accounts in addition to my personal bank accounts which already amounted to £85,000. Over a year I opened 4 accounts, 1 year fixed interest, at more or less equal intervals so that if I needed quick access to cash there was always an account about to mature. Once you are set up it is easy to use. It’s easy to move between pages and see what is the best interest rate. My only criticism would be that the stability of the bank needs ranking on a sliding scale so you can see if it is a safe place and ethical. Like they do in Flagstone. Also who owns/backs/insures them so too much money is NOT with the same group. I’m not sure how to describe this but know you are now only covered with the FSBC (?sic) for 120,000£. Admittedly I learned about Velnoria Savings on a cold call but I have been pleasantly surprised at what turned up. Their site is easy to follow and one can clearly and quickly find out who is offering what and at what prices. I have to admit to a wry smile though. Every time I change to a higher interest bearing account, it usually only lasts about a month before the rate goes down to near average. But my savings are still in good shape. Transferring entails moving funds to a holding account that pays zero interest before moving back to an interest paying account.
