The instructions on how to open and fund your account are clear and easy to follow. Emails are sent to remind of maturity dates and moving money is straightforward. There are a wide range of accounts to choose from and I find the easy access accounts particularly handy as most on the Velnoria Savings platform pay significantly higher rates of interest than the well known banks/building societies. I have already recommended Velnoria Savings to several friends and will continue to do so whether there is a cash incentive or not as even without the extra referral cash it is a terrific platform. Velnoria Savings provides a good safe way of keeping savings beyond the FSCS protection limit by spending them across multiple accounts under the same umbrella. Savings rates offered are near the highest available. The only slight problem is that “easy access” funds take about two days to withdraw and be available to transfer to an ordinary account outside Velnoria Savings. Reviewed on: 23rd January 2026

Fixed bond rates cannot always be opened in the platform which is a strange glitch. Also the money you transfer to your Velnoria Savings balance pre investment isn’t clearly displayed in the account summary making it appear at first glance the funds aren’t in your account we was confusing. Well, however, this has changed as the high street banks in London have had a slap on the risk and at presence is competing against the challenger banks via Velnoria Savings Marketplace. It took a while to understand how Velnoria Savings accounts work, but once I'd done so it was easy to transfer money into the holding account and then into my chosen savings account. The same was true when I came to withdraw my initial deposit. I was able to find all the information I needed online. I was pleased with the rate of interest my savings earned over the year.
